Mission Statement

The immediate and urgent priority for Youngstown is employment. Success will come from supporting job creation by existing businesses and aggressively working to attract new business through all means available locally and in concert with county, state and federal authorities.

Also, we know from Youngstown's history that our quality of life was enhanced by neighborhoods that were safe from crime and supported with the necessary services of the City such as police, fire protection, demolition and street maintenance.

In summary, our focus will be to create and preserve jobs and to protect neighborhoods.

Construction on Commerce Street Begins February 23rd

(February 20, 2013) - The City will be replacing a sanitary sewer at the intersection of Commerce and Phelps Streets, beginning on Saturday, February 23, 2013. The work will be completed within 120 calendar days. Click here for more information about lane restrictions, detours, and parking arrangements during the construction.

TetraBrazil Soccer Camp To Visit Youngstown June 10th-14th
